We used to not find it a problem at all...but I do think this last time (Dec 18 - Jan 1, 2015) with the Fast Pass + the way it is, we felt there was A LOT of schedules to keep...in a negative way.
The always eating thing was never a problem on it's own...I mean, you don't have to clean your plate every time. And if someone was not super hungry, we would only get 3 instead of 4 and we'd share.
I honestly think what made us feel like we were always running was the fact that we now had pre-made ADRs AND pre-made fast passes. It used to be you chose the fast pass when you got there and it was easier to know how that was going to affect your ADR/plans for the day...now, it's a lot of scheduled time without a lot of wiggle room...because if at the last minute I decide to change my fast pass, I am probably not going to get another for a popular ride. And if I decide to change or cancel an ADR, I am subject to possibly paying a no show fee (depending on when I do it).
SO in and of itself, the deluxe dining did not make us feel rushed (in fact, at Christmas and when we've been in the heat of summer, an air conditioned, not having to wait in line at a CS and then fight for a seat has been a welcome reprieve) but then you had to worry about the next fast pass.
