On our first DCL cruise, we got our Doc's a little less than two weeks before departure. We booked with Dreams, and were told that most "bulk" bookings (meaning TA's) are the last to be printed and mailed.
bostonlass, my wife and I have received our documents for both cruises we have taken about a month in advance. Both times we used AAA to book our cruises. We have had no problem. Now that's just our experience. Some have had a horrible time with AAA. I just don't think I could wait until 2 weeks before leaving to receive the doc's. We are going on the Magic in December and will use AAA once again. If ain't broke don't fix it!!!!
We've already received ours for our May 1 cruise (yesterday which put us 1 day less than 5 weeks before we leave) and when we did the land/sea we got them about 4 weeks out as well. We booked our trip both times through Dreams on DCL and didnt do DCL air or transfers.
