I don't think you will get the documents but your never know, I booked a trip 10 days in advance in December and didn't receive the documents but had no problems with riding DME nor with them getting my luggage.

If you don't get them you just go up to the DME counter when you arrive and they will take care of you. Make sure to hold on to your baggage claim tags as DME will ask you for them to be able to collect your luggage.

We got our DME stuff in the mail today . Now there is nothing left to do but pack.
