What's the latest on advance ticket purchase and discounts?

Last year we received a discount on the two UPH we needed for our daughter and nephew by purchasing before we arrived at WDW. Three of us had an AP and I renewed mine prior to expiration so received a discount for that.

We called yesterday and were told there are no discounts on UPH advance purchases or AP renewals? Is this accurate? With all of the misinformation out there, I thought I'd see if anyone has direct, recent knowledge. The tix page on DIS indicates there is an advance discount on UPH, but it also is for 2003--I thought maybe things changed at the new year.

It's entirely possible that the person you spoke to gave you the information as he/she knows it. They only know what's on their screen. Since only one price is shown for UPH's, that's all that the CM knows exists.

The information as you know is incorrect. There is indeed an advance purchase price on UPH's as well as a renewal price on AP's.
