What's the Job at Diseny you want the most?

I would totally love to be an imagineer. I love designing sets in Drama Club and it'd just be perfect. But I also love love looooove interacting with people. I'm not out-going or anything at all, but I'd want to work at guest services or at a resort (Boardwalk would be my top choice :lovestruc ). Like, I'd just want to be there and make peoples' day all the time. Be the person to say, "oh, we've upgraded you to more fantastic view that also happens to be right next to the pool and super close to the busses." Like, come on. Giving birthday pins to all the little princesses. It'd be great. I just want to make people happy and make their stay magical :tink:. That's basically it. :jumping1::mickeyjum

Those of you wanting an attractions job.. definitely a way to go. I got accepted to the 2010 spring CP and caught wind that I was going to be working in fww. Land building. Then at traditions, hearing that one word.. soarin. Best experience ever.

Unrealistically? Megara from Hercules.
Something I could do on the DCP? Front desk or concierge. :thumbsup2

Wow, I'm really the only one who wants to be an Imagineer? I'm not saying those jobs suck, but kind of surprised no one else wants to be one of the people who make all these experiences come to life. All of those would definitely be fun jobs to have, especially a M&G character or an attraction attendant. I would love to work on RNRC.

No actually, I just recently thought of being an imagineer. However, I don't know how I feel about it since I would kinda be walking in my dads footsteps.

I'm going to audition to be a face character since its the only job I want to have until I'm older and ready to start my full time job at whatever I'm doing, besides acting a of course. I already do film and theatre, so becoming a face character is next on my list! A lot of my friends are friends with princesses or other characters and have really inspired me.

Back on the imagineering thing, I'm actually quite upset with WDW and Disneyland right now. Especially since the news about the skyway. :( Disney is really going downhill and I've never noticed as much until the "Unleasj the Villians" event that just happened in September. They're getting rid of classics, building boring rides and new outdated attractions. I grew up in Disney world and it's really upsetting that my kids won't get to experience some of my favorite things from here. If I was an imagineer, I honestly believe Disney would get better. I know what they plan on building and everything and I only think one is a good idea. It's very disappointing.

I can't be the only one who thinks this???

The skyway has been gone for years. I do agree that some cast members do need to get their act up (I am specifically referring to the fact that during our last visit about half the cast members told us to have a 'great' day and not a 'magical' one), but the new experiences they're putting in are not that bad, as far as I can tell. Yes, they shut down Snow White, but it scared a lot of kids. I think the new coaster will be friendlier. And the New Fantasyland is quite magical. Nothing can stay the same, and if you look back at the opening day attractions list you will find that a lot of the rides no longer exist. Walt Disney said that Disneyland would never be finished, this because things will keep changing. I do see your point, though. I don't know what they're planning, but it would be great to see the classics stay.

Realistically, I want to work at the Starbucks on Main Street lol. Or I would actually love being a waitress in either MK or Epcot. Or work at the front desk at the Grand Floridian.

Unrealistically, I would love to be Belle or Jasmine (since those are the only two I could pass for)

Face character in the parks in about a year (yay!) and then hopefully an Imagineer! Specifically working as a concept artist. That's what I'm workin towards, anyways :)

In light of the release of Frozen, my recent goal has been set to eventually be friends with Princess Anna in the parks or perhaps Rapunzel, Ariel, or Jasmine.

Jungle Cruise skippers always have a special place in my heart, as well, though. As do the Kilimanjaro Safari drivers. And Great Movie Ride, of course.
