My guess would be Kanani the American Girl of the Year doll but I don't know. Seems like those Monster High Dolls are a huge hit right now too.

I had a hard time finding a LeapPad in local stores for my 5 year old GS. Ordered online from their web site.

Around my house, Doctor Dreadful's Zombie Lab is big news. It's disgusting. Everything they want is disgusting, actually. My boys are totally in love with it. I just bought it at TRU for $19.99 with free shipping.

Yes I agree that Monster High dolls. Abbey and Spectra are the hardest to find. There have beem talk all over the boards and many threads dedicated to it. I have been able to find Spectra but not Abbey.


I think those hermit crab toys will be hard to find. They are called Xia Xia Pets. My local Walmart has been out for about a week and what they have been getting goes fast. Similar to Zsu Zsu pets were a few years ago. Thank goodness my DD isn't into those.


So Abbey is what I'm hunting.

Of the 6 things I went looking for on the Toys R Us website last night, 5 were "out of stock". I imagine they will be restocked, but probably after the sale is over.

I agree that the Spectra and Abbey Monster High dolls, are the hardest to find. I managed to find both, but it took a lot of hunting to do it.
As far as the Leap Pad I don't know, my DS has a Leapster and is totally in love with it, so we didn't see the need to upgrade, so I haven't even looked at them in the stores.
The Xia Xia pets (crabs), are very plentiful in my area, I have seen a bunch of them at both Wal-Mart and TRU.
