Well, we always eat lunch at Kona Cafe right after we check-in at the Poly. So I guess that'll be the first thing I buy! After that we usually visit the shops in the GCH and who knows what treasures I'll find in there to buy!

We won't get to POFQ until later in the evening so I plan on my first purchase being something at the snack bar (narrowed down to: begniets, milkshake or double cheeseburger)! However jann1033, my DH will be prowling the gift shop for holloween rice krispy treats.

having never ever been to WDW before, my first item from the parks will most likely be Mickey ears embroidered (sp??) with my name. everyone i know who has been has always come back with a pair so I plan to as well! From the resort, probably postcards or something as a momento of the resort.

Arriving late afternoon, so straight in the gift shop for me. I think it will be autograph books, refillable mugs and a pin for the hotel I'm staying at, a t-shirt, maybe a bag for the parks... actually I might not make it to the room at all

When I hit MK the next day, I'll be straight in the bakery for a breakfast quiche, so delicious!

I might check out the Helly Hansen gear in Norway. I'm not supposed to shop this trip (I really don't need anymore souvies) But I would love to get DH a Helly so he can see why I love them so much.

Ok, you got me.... ....what is a "cloned Plant from the land" and a "Helly"? I'm intrigued and would hate to miss out on something I didn't even know I needed!!

DH- first thing he buys is some new light up toys for DD. (which he usually does while I'm checking in!!!) So who's more excited?

The cloned plants are these little self-contained plants in sterile medium that they clone in the land. I think they call them Mickey's Space Gardens or something like that. They have them at the Behind the Seeds desk in the Land as well as at the Mission:Space Gift Shop.

Helly Hansen is a brand of winter & water sports gear that they carry in the Norway Pavillion in Epcot. It is very, very good gear & we don't have a place that carries it locally that I know of.
