What's the first thing you like to do?

We usually throw our bags in the room and hop a bus to DTD! This gets us in the pre-park spirit! Plus, all the shopping is great!

This is what I'm going to do on March 5. I'm going to check into POP and then I'm going to go down to the food court/ gift store and look around and maybe get a snack and then I'm going to go swimming in the Hippy Dippy Pool. and then I'm going to take a shower and then I'm going to go to Downtown disney West side and use my extra magic plus option to go to Disney Quest and then I'm going to get motion sickness and go back to the room and go to sleep. Then I'm going to get up very early the next morning and go to Magic kingdom and be there when the gates open and then I'm going to go straight for splash mountain. I'm going to ride it a few times and have a fastpass for BTMRR and then I'm going to ride that and then I'm going to get a fastpass for Space Mountain and then I'm going to ride that and then I'm going to ride Buzz Lightyear and then I'm going to try the Stitch ride if there are no lines and then I'm going to eat a hamburger at Cosmic Ray's cafe. And then I'm going to go and get another fastpass for Splash Mountain. Then I'm going to go and ride Pirates of the Carribean. Then I'm going to ride the Haunted Mansion and then I'm going to go to MGM because that is EMH night. Then I'm going to ride RnRC like a billion times and probably ToT once if I can get up enough courage and I'm going to eat dinner at Toy Story Pizza Planet and then I'm going to watch fantasmic and I'm going to ride RnRC until the park closes and then I'm going to go back to the room and go to sleep and then I'm going to get up really early for the EMH morning at Epcot. I'm going to go on Test Track and then I'm going to get some cokes of the world in the iceburg and I'm going to ride Spaceship earth and I'm going to go through Honey I shrunk the kids and I'm going to go through Ellen's energy adventure and then it's on to the world showcase. I'm going to go through England and I'm going to eat lunch in Morocco at the Tangierine cafe and then I'm going to get henna and then I'm going to park hop over to the Magic Kingdom. I'm going to get fastpass for Splash Mountain and then I'm going to .... wait you just said the first day... ooops.

We normally get to Orlando around noon so we always go to Shoney's for some true southern food we can't get in Chicago. Then after resting a bit we go to DTD for a stroll and shopping. We normally don't get back to DTD so it's a nice way to shop for souvies for people back home.

Depends on what time of day we arrive. If we get there early we hit the parks. This year, we don't arrive until 1pm (please let our flight be on time), so we'll probably hit the pool and then have dinner at one of the Boardwalk restaurants (we're staying at BWI)

Once you've arrived at Disney and have checked in, what's a fun thing to do on day 1 to get things rolling?

Depends on the time we arrive and what day but for the most part we get our rental car, check in and either go to our room to drop off our luggage (if we're lucky enough!) or we store our luggage and head straight for MK!!! We MUST!

But if it's late or a Saturday, we check out the resort, swim, rent a boat and maybe to to DTD for surveying the future souvenir purchases!

At Thanksgiving we arrived around 11:30 a.m. at BCV. Our room wasn't ready, which was just fine. Since this was our first trip as DVC members, we just wanted to take in the atmosphere at the Beach Club.

Our first stop was Hurricane Hannah's for one of those great wraps, turkey caesar I believe. There is just something about sitting at the table with your feet in the sand knowing that it is 20 degrees at home. Then to explore the Boardwalk we rented a Surrey Bike. A good way to make sure you have enough stamina to handle serious park hopping. If you have rented a Surrey at Boardwalk you know what I mean. Those bridges are killer.

Then for a nice relaxing rest of the afternoon at SAB. After getting into our room it was off for a nice dinner at Le Cellier. AHH! Heaven!!

Can't wait until June. Although we will be arriving at BCV around 7:30 p.m. May we will just have to go straight for Beaches and Cream and that wonderful No Way Jose!

We usually reach our resort around 2:00 - 3:00 pm, check in to the room, freshen up and head to MK. I tried to change that this year by making a PS at San Angel in EPCOT but was shot down immediately by my kids. Now I'm glad as their faces lit up again turning the corner on Main Street and seeing the castle. The charm and magic of Disney swept over them and they seemed to be in a trance from then on.

We get there late afternoon, ride the monorail and go to Chef Mickeys for dinner.

If we arrive before 9:00 p.m., we check in and go to Epcot. Head straight for Japan and have a Kaki Gori. We usually stay at BCV (our home resort) or BWV, so usually works. We are AP holders, so there's no trouble with burning a day. Once we get back to the room, I take time to move in, put stuff away, etc. Then we usually hit the pool, and call it a night.

We typically arrive between 12:00-1:00 pm and have stayed in the EPCOT resort area on our last two visits. If the room isn't ready, we walk over to the Big River Brewing for appetizers and beer (just to take the edge off).

After check in, it's EPCOT 'til closing and the Boardwalk for the remainder of the evening.

After we get to our room, we eat at the food court. Then it depends on how the kids feel, we either swim to relax or just go straight to the park.

We arrive mid day. After check-in and visiting our room, we go over to the MK and have dinner! When we get back to the resort, my dh takes ds to the pool for a quick dip and I un-pack!

We head out to Epcot and, if it's a decent time of day , we make a beeline for France for a glass of champagne for me, then to England for a beer for my husband. If we're really, really lucky, we are just in time for a concert by the British Invasion!

I always check in to my resort and pick up my passes. I like to walk around and take in the resort and just relaz and unpack

Unpack! It helps me feel like I am really staying for a while and not rushing to go home. Now that I use ME, I cannot always do that.

I usually like to go to the giftshop and buy something to carry into the parks...either a pin, lanyard or something small.

If my room is ready - which is doubtful at 11:00am, I will unpack. If the room is not ready I will grab my park passes and head off to each park to ride my favorite attractions. AK is first, followed by a bus ride to MGM, then the boat to Epcot and finally the monorail to MK. I love getting in early in the day!

Since we come from Arizona we usually don't get in until late afternoon. So after we check in, we'll head to our room to unpack and get things organized. I am very anal, so everything has to be just so. Then we'll head out to DTD for a little magic before the big days at the parks. Dinner is usually Fulton Crab House.
