What's the first thing you like to do?

We check in and then check out the resort. Once the girls spot the pool though it is of to change clothes and take a swim.

Hmmmm, we don't really have a tradition that we always stick to, but this trip, since we're driving, we won't get there till around 5 or 6 ish. Once we finish checking in at BWV, we're going to head to Beaches 'N Cream for dinner, then MGM for their Evening Magic Hour. We're so excited!!

...I usually stroll down to the beach at the BC...flop out on the sand at the water's edge...and do my beached whale imitation, (which is a highly life like demo as rated by my family and many passing guests)...you would think the sunglasses would be a give away... :smooth:

My sister and I always go right to MK to get a picture of us in front of the Castle for our mom. This past summer we had "before and after" pictures - the after pictures look like we just got done doing ten tri-athalons in a row! It was really hot and crowded and we were at the parks from open to close. No wonder.

The first thing I really like to do is just walk into WL and go into the Mercantile to look at all the fun stuff I want to buy. I love WL to pieces. 11 days...

Depends on what time we get there. If it's early enough, we'll hit a park. Usually MK. But this last trip, we went to the ESPNZone to watch football and have a couple cocktails. It was a perfect way to start our trip....;)

After dropping off our luggage, we go to Typhoon Lagoon. We're usually tired from traveling, so we can relax in the sun or float around the river and catch a nap, but we're still getting that Disney feeling!

We like to check in, get to our room, unpack a little. Check out the resort (first time at Wilderness Lodge in May). Maybe swim a little. We always end our first night with Ohana's and then watch the MK fireworks from Poly beach. Can't wait!! Only 88 days left.. :cheer2:

we get to the airport at around 4.00 drive to our hotel (takes about 1/2 hour - 3/4 hour because we come from Sanford airport) check in, go to our room, unpack, watch TV and go to sleep (we are not used to the time change so really we go to sleep about 8.30 - 9.00 which is about 1.30 - 2.00 am in England) last time was our 1st time we stayed at a disney resort so we went to DTD got our tickets which took awhile and we watched (me and my sisters) these ducks swimming and one was like the loch ness monster anyway then we went to ASMu resort and checking in took about 30-40 mins finally we got our room, unpacked, watched a bit of TV and went to sleep that was about 10.00 - 10.30 which is about 3.00 - 3.30 in England
now it's the end of this long thing i wrote so :)

We do early check in, and head to whatever park is having EMH. Of course, it helps to only live 35 minutes away!

When we used to fly in, we would check in, usually by about 10 am, then grab something to eat, and usually head to a park the DIDN'T have Early Entry. Or we have headed to DTD to eat, stroll around and shop, but that was only once when the weather took a very unexpected turn for the worst.

We always drive and get in between noon and 3, unpack if possible and head to MK!

We get in about 4:30 p.m. and get settled in the room. Then we head out to Downtown Disney for dinner, shopping and fun. Last time we went to DisneyQuest, this time it's La Nouba (SSSSSHHHHHHH! It's a surprise!)!
:)

If our room is ready when we check in, then we'll go and unpack first, then check out the resort. After that, we'll decide what we want to do first. Probably Epcot, since we'll be at the BCV and we can just walk right over. :cool1: If our room isn't ready, we'll probably just go right to Epcot and call later to see if it's ready. Our "tradition" is to check out the resort and to visit a new resort on our trip. Our trip in May, we will visit POP and Fort Wilderness.

DH would rather take the time to relax after the hectic travel day, but I figure I can rest after the vacation is over. We usually take a 7 or 8 am flight, check in & drop off luggage, have a quick bite for lunch at the AS food court (I allow my DH this short rest, so he doesn't feel rushed), then head over to the MK bus stop.....to walk through the castle!!!!! My goal on our Sept '04 trip was to go to the MK in time for the parade and a few rides, then (since MK was closing early for Night of Joy) eat at Baskervilles at the Grovsner, then go to MGM for Fantasmic...........we did it!!!! I think it only worked because it was Sept. This year we are going in Oct, and MK will probably close early for MNSSHP on our first night. That's ok- I'll be happy to try whatever park is open late that evening! Yippppppeeee-got the airfare, so we're goinggggggg!!!!!

I do not care if my room is ready or not!!! Just give me my pass so I can hit the Parks. We will go full force until we check out. There is too much to see and do to want to sleep or relax!!!

Head straight to Beachs & Cream for a No Way Jose (the first, but not the last, of our trip). We love those things.

We usually get there around mid afternoon and we unpack and walk around the resort just to get the feel of it..... then we have dinner reservations for somewhere nice that night. (cali grill, citricos, etc.) Then its off to bed for MK in the morning (we always go to MK for our first park!)

Ahhhh!!! I can't wait to go back!!!!

We usually arrive early and the room isn't ready. So if we are staying at Boardwalk (our DVC home and where we stay most) we head over to Epcot for a couple of hours.

When we checked in to the Contemporary in December of '03 and our room wasn't ready yet we took the monorail over to the Poly and had lunch at Kona Cafe. When we were finished with that our room was ready.

Bottom line we just start enjoying ourselves quickly.

Magic Kingdom is rarely our first park, but we do have a tradition when we go there - first thing I do is go visit the Dumbo statue in the hub!

We have 3:15 flight from NY and will arrive at our hotel around 6-6:30. we plan on settling down in our room. Look around the hotel(AKL) and prob head to Chef Mickey's!! Once we get back, straight to bed so we are rested for MK the next day!! ( My DS11 will be exausted because it is his last day of school and we leave to go to the airport right when he gets home and my DD15 will prob not sleep because school is over and she never sleeps when she is excited! ) We cant wait!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :cloud9: :hyper:
