The farthest I've driven by car was several trips from Michigan to Colorado or vice versus when I lived out there for 4 years.

Since then the farthest we've driven on a trip was Michigan to Tennessee and back. I much rather fly!!

My oldest DS has me beat. He's driven all the way from Michigan to Los Angeles!! He loves to drive!!:D

2000 miles.... Boy, that's a long haul...

Vermont to Orlando!

Also Minnesota to Vermont!

Denae

1500 miles around England, Ireland & Scotland on our Honeymoon.
ID to Washington DC.

I've driven 17-odd hours from New Jersey to Mississippi. Alone with the kitties - that one hurt!

10-12 hours from Mississippi to Florida, and from Virginia to Florida. 11 hours from Virginia to Mississippi. 12 hours from Mississippi to Oklahoma.

BUT, ask again in a couple weeks - we're going to be driving 28 hours from Oklahoma to Washington State. Luckily DH will be there to share the duties and we're towing the second car.

ETA: As a kid, my parents drove us from New Jersey to Florida (22 hours) and from Jersey to Colorado (3 days).

From PA to southern Utah!

We saw flatlands full of wheat fields, towering mountains in Colorado, the mesas and plateaus of southern Utah, the high altitude desert!:sunny:

What a long strange trip!:sunny:

California to Florida, and then back again. Took me seven days to get there (I took my time) and 4 to get back (I hurried).

VA to Maine
VA to FL
Va to KY
Va to Ga
GA to AZ
AZ to GA
AZ to NH

When I was a baby, Mass to CA, then from CA to CO to VA.

My DH likes to drive, and my father did too. I would rather fly, but sometimes you have to drive , like to move. I guess AZ to NH is a little futher than AZ to GA, but not by much

So far it's been from here (Maryland) to Maine... come December it will be from Maryland to Disney!!!

DH drove with 1 cat from Washington state to Conneticut.:teeth:

Furthest I've ever gone was Cincinnati to Florida Everglades.

When I was a little kid I think my parents drove from Los Angeles to Michigan.

But the longest trip I remember has been from LA to Arkansas to see my ex's father and his family. (they had relocated out there form here).

Took us about 4 days each way.

We are considering going on a road trip this August from here (LA) to Oklahoma to see my grandma who is turning 100!

Living in Kansas is nice, you are right, smack, dab in the middle. I have driven to Orlando then on to Key West from here (twice). We have driven to LA many times from here (Just made that trip earlier this year). Best long distance trip was the year we drove up to International Falls, MN for my Uncles wedding then we drove up to Banff National Park in Canada then drove across Canada to Victoria, BC. Once there we took a couple of ferries to Washington State then drove all the way down the coast to San Diego then back to Kansas. We were gone for 3 weeks on that trip.

Ohio to CA and back several times. Before DH, I used to travel and run around a lot. My dad lived out there, and that is where I went through part of my college career. I kinda miss getting in the car for a nice long road trip on my own, sometimes!

18 hours from here in ark to orlando,, long way went through jascksonville to get there to pick up sil so here to jax then to daytona and over to orlando made longer because we drove through tropical storm remnant sgoing and coming home,, heavy rain all across noirth fla and south mississippi and alabama

NC to Colorado via Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, etc., to the Grand Canyon, then home through Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, etc. -- about 5,500 miles total. Great trip!
