We plan to arrive in Orlando the night before our reservation at ASMo, and would like to check in first thing in the morning. Although I know our room may not be ready, we were planning on catching the Catholic Mass at the Poly and then getting an early start at the parks and we will be going back to the resort in the afternoon. Is 7:00am toooo early for check in?

Thanks!

The earliest I've ever checked into a Disney Hotel was about 10:30am and we got our room right then :) All in my dad's powers of persuasion, he manages to get us a great room, with a great view right when we arrive. But I would say 7:00 is too early

Go to a resort or to Downtown Disney for a nice breakfast and then head over to your resort around 10:00 or 10:30

We checked into the BC at about 7am last September as we were beginning our package stay that morning (having arrived the night before). I think the staff at the WDW resorts are used to that with people wanting to get their passes and get to the parks first thing. As long as you don't mind that you can't actually get your room that early, I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

We have checked in at 7am several times, so that we could check in and then go to EarlyEntry. They will give you your room keys(though they aren't activated). They will give you a number to call and check on the room. You can use the phone at Guest Service in the park. They will give you your room # when you call and directions to the room(if needed). They will activate your room keys so you don't have to go by the front desk.

In December, our Room was ready at AKL at 9am!

Usually we are in our room by 12noon.

In March at CBR was the latest we ever got our room. It wasn't ready until after 4pm, but that was because we requested a room close to the food courts--it wasn't very close though

We checked in at OKW around 7am, but our room was not ready until 4pm. They gave us a phone # to call so we could check while at the parks. The earliest we've ever gotten a room was 10:30 am at the GF.

We checked in at POR at about 1:00 and we were told to call a number after 3:00 to check if our rooms was ready and we did about 4 times and by 5:30 i was upset and went to the front desk and they ened up giving us another room.this was June 7th.
So i wouldn't count on anything.

We got our room at 7:30 am this past week at the Beach Club Villas. We have also been lucky with a 7:30 check in two separate times at the Boardwalk Villas. Maybe the villas have something to do with it.

We used to stay off site the first night of our trips when we did Deluxe Magic packages. We would check in 7ish and then go to breakfast and then MK. By the time we got back to the hotel after lunch, we were usually able to get in the room....but it did vary.

We drove down from NC and arrived about 7 p.m. - spent the first night offsite at a Best Western. We checked into the Contemporary about 7:00 a.m. They held our bags of course and we proceeded to have breakfast and hit the Magic Kingdom when it opened.

Hey - it's never too early if you ask me.

We will be checking in to AKL around 9 am on our Sept trip.
We just plan to store our luggage with Bell Services, eat at Boma then hit the parks.

Its nice to hear so many check in early.

Last Christmas we checked into the WL at 7:30am and the room was ready. In 1997 we tried to check into the BWI and the room wasn't ready until well after 3pm. We hung out at the concierge lounge until the room was ready.

We got to BWV at 10:30am on 10/01/01 and got our room right away.

I checked in early at CBR this past April to pick up my tickets and our room was ready. It was about 9:00 am and there were very few people in the lobby. Likewise, latter that week we went to AKL at about 10:30 and although our room wasn't ready, they put us into another room and it was an upgrade to a savannah view. Now mind you, we were looking at on the infamous "people pen", but there were enough animals, birds, giraffes, etc., in the background that I didn't complain about it. Also, it was nice to be able to settle into a room.
