lobby? pool? etc
what little details should I be looking for?

When are you going?

The guest registration area is very beautiful as well. The high ceiling and all the artifacts are cool to check out.

Visit La Fuente de Las Palomas (translation: Fountain of the Doves). This spring-fed fountain is located in the resort's main lobby area. Fountain water emanates from a Spanish-style urn surrounded by colorful tiles. The domed ceiling is filled with hand painted images of white clouds and birds flying through a blue sky. The painting in the dome was painted on canvases off-site and applied in pieces. The doves were then added on site. This beautiful mural makes this the jewel of the entrance way.

Panchito's in one of the best stores on WDW property. Very large and has many Disney and CSR items.

Definitely walk through the casita area. This area is set among colorful plazas, fountains and palm-shaded courtyards. The casitas (translation: Little Houses) resemble three and four story buildings in a village setting. This area was themed after urban areas of the American Southwestern (such as Santa Fe) and Mexico (such as Monterrey). Visit the circular courtyard is very peaceful. Great place to read. Then check out the Lion fountain but it best at night.

Walk through the ranchos and see all the detail they put into this area to make it look authentic. I love the cactus, rock structures and rock river beds. The Ranchos have a more rustic, rural flavor to them. These two and three story villas are themed after the dry, rural desert ranchland regions of the Southwest United States. This area comes complete with an Arroyo (translation: a small stream that tumbles over a rocky streambed).

As you continue around the Espanade (the walkway that encircles Lago Dorado), it brings you to the cabana village. Located on the northern shore of Lago Dorado, these adobe architecture, two story buildings contain 316 rooms and 3 suites. This area reflects the beauty and serenity of Mexico's coastal regions. More than half the rooms in this village have lake views and make them a popular choice among guests. A sandy shoreline beach, complete with hammocks, compliments this section.Walk along the sandy beach area in the cabana section and swing on a hammock. It's great to look across the lake and see the casitas reflect in the water.

The Dig Site, Pepper Market, Maya Grill and the rest of the resort will not disappoint you either.

The nature trail. Short but quiet.

The hot tub!!! Wonderfully big so you don't have to worry about capacity limits. As long as kids aren't using it for a hot swimming pool.

The pool slide!

And the tables set up outside Pepper Market, along Lago Dorado are nice, it it's not blazing hot!

Hi! Not sure if you have a car to get around or taking the Disney buses around but if possible don't forget to checkout the resort's main pool area which is very nice. The food court at the resort is awesome with what I think to the best food choices available for a food court on Disney property. (the chips and fresh salsa are the best here for that tasty late night snack!!!). Overall, the resort is very scenic and well groomed. The lake area is nice at night to take a stroll and relax.

Buzz - I'll be at Coronado 11/7-11
thanks for all your help
