What's the cost of pressed pennies?

Two weeks ago at Disneyland (CA), they were 51 cents (two quarters plus the penny).

pressed pennies are $.51. two quarters and the penny you are squishing.

pressed quarters are $1.25 5 quarters - 4 to pay for it and 1 to squish.

DS adores pressed penny machines so I think if he helps 'save' his 'moneys' for the machine, he can get to spend them over the trip. Thanks!

There's a couple of machines that are $1 plus the penny - if I remember right, they're both at DQ.

They're great to collect but the price mounts up - the pressed penny books hold hundreds of the damn things, it costs a fortune for an entire collection!!

All the ones I got were 0.51$ but I also saw some machines that pressed quarters and I'm not sure how much those cost, I stick to pressing pennies.
Also you will want to use pennies made before 1982, they are solid copper. I used Kaboom to clean a bunch of pre-1982 pennies so that I would have nice shiny pressed pennies.
