We are planning our trip to WDW in October and have been searching around for the cheapest flights. Any suggestions on airlines or discount sites where we can find cheap fares?

Pretty much the same as any other city serviced by most airlines, I guess just use the usual suspects (southwest, kayak, orbitz, expedia, etc).

The problem with flying out of SMF is that direct flights to MCO are fairly limited as most of the time, you will have to have a stop and maybe a switch of planes. I've entertained the idea of driving to SFO and flying out, but the cost of driving and parking there, is offset by the higher fare and less stressful airport experience at SMF.

I am flying on southwest and jetblue this time around. Southwest was only $160 (before taxes and fees), while jetblue was more expensive. But for the dates, it wasn't much more than southwest, only $25, and the time for my jetblue flights was better.

We dont mind having one stop but no more than one. Every time we have flown to MCO and back we had one stop each way. Last time we found the best deal on Delta but this time everone seems to be charge about $400 plus per person each. We are hoping to find some kind of deal under $400 per person.

I see some flights on southwest.com for Tuesday and Wednesday flights for $400 or a little below for all of October.
