What's the "Celebrations" option all about?

Just noticed the "tell us about your celebrations" option on my dvcmember reservations page...I clicked on it, and filled it in (we're celebrating my DS' college graduation)...

Ok, so I'm registered. What should I expect? There's no hint (that I could find) on the website telling me what happens now that Disney/DVC knows that we're celebrating DS' graduation!

Does anyone know what will happen?

You and your family will get celebration buttons at check in. In the past we've received balloons, cards and even a gift basket once, but we were told "Disney doesn't do that anymore unless you purchase a package".

Our annual stay happens to include my birthday. This year I received a birthday card signed by all the Disney Princesses attached to a ballon bouquet. It was an incredibly wonderful surprise ... rescuing an otherwise miserable day.

Filled in my birthday but I am really not expecting them to do anything.

We have 4 separate reservation numbers because I booked them all weird. I entered my birthday on each ressie, and each time it took me to a page that said "This page is currently unavailable".

Last year I got a neat pen from AKL concierge.
In 2006 I got a safari Tigger plush and a card.
