Wow, her stuff is gorgeous!!! I just spent $60 on paper piecing cuz they were too cute too pass up. I can't wait to get them and use them!! Good thing Dh and I have a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy.

nope for once I was not the Great Enabler! It was nurseypoo5's fault she spend lots of money from "some ebay chick" and that is what started it all.

P.S. I need to cover my tracks when ever possible I think DH spies on me here when he's out of town!

Alright at the risk of sounding like a major loser, I am not truly sure what paper piecing is. I visited the above link and I am a little confused. Are these pictures or are the pictures cut into several pieces and I have to reassemble them like a puzzle? I would think things like eyes and small finger would be hard to place properly. Could someone explain this a little better to me?

Her stuff is well done, I'm just glad it doesn't fit into my scrappin' style. I just couldn't afford it, LOL. I'm too busy buying pretty Disney paper.

She probably has! The funny thing is that's not really my style either. I've never made nor used a paper piecing before! But now I sure as heck am.

Buffy, you newest nickname is going to have to be Swap Goddess, Calendar Keeper and Great Enabler!

So for the newbies, a paper piecing is when you basically cut up diffrent colors of cardstock using a design (usually something made from a coloring book) and piece those papers back together into the design. So it's several layers of different colored cardstock. I would think that what I bought is premade and I just had to slap it onto my page (well, at least it better be!) Did that make sense?

Yes it did! Thanks! Im just glad she doesnt do any Thomas Tank engine stuff... Id be broke I have tons of pics from Day out with Thomas that i need to scrap. Im not sure what my style is since I just started, but all her stuff is real cute!

Okay Buffy, I can't let you take all the blame I admit I started one of the threads yesterday about shopping at Gina's. Just don't tell my DH. He is leaving Thursday morning and won't be home until Monday afternoon. I wonder how much I can get while he is gone.

i'm not sure exactly what things you guys have purchased from Gina, but all of the things I've gotten (about 8 or so) have not been paper piecings (or at least what I consider to be them). They are images created on the computer, printed and then matted. I think she has a few things that might have an extra piece on top stuck on with pop-dots to make it 3-d, but all the ones I have are totally flat, one main image that was printed and then it's matted.
