What's the big deal with Crocs?

Look in the Campmor catalog they have them for $30. I just got a pair and I love them. Leaving for Disney in 8 days! I believe that if you add com after the name it will take you to their web site.

I just ordered three pairs two for me, and one for DH........I got the pink and light blue, and DH beige. I ordered them from Nordstroms for $29.99 shipping only, $5.00.
Now, how do I convince DH to wear them? :confused3 :confused3

I have terrible Plantar Fasciatis. Ended up getting 2 cortosone shots before our Disney trip last week--including one the day before we left. Probably the first time in history that someone arrived at Disney on crutches (the shot was so painful I couldn't put weight on my foot), and walked around all week and was able to leave without crutches! (it kicked in the next day and I was able to walk)

I was in TONS of pain and have decided there is no way I can go back unless I get my feet fixed. Even now I can barely walk because of the pain. I really wish I had paid attention to all these croc threads before I left. I have to wear shoes all the time so I need something that is comfortable. And I HATE to wear shoes!

SO. . . .

What is the difference between the styles? I just looked at the site and it looks like the main choices for "everyday" would be the Aspen, Beach or Caymen--although the Islander looks good for colder weather since it doesn't have an open back. I am in VA so the weather isn't to bad, and I don't mind wearing wool socks if I have to. I also have a very wide toe box (the distance from my big to little toe). I normally wear the widest women's tennies I can find, and have even bought wide width men' shoes in the past to get ones that don't squish my little toe.

Money is no object! Right now I am spending $100 for tennis shoes that don't help too much, and even more for the shots and orthotics and splints.

So which style would be best for me? I see that my local Hallmark store sells these????? I doubt they will be much help in selecting the right style. I may run out this afternoon to pick some up!

I tried on the 'Beach' style at Dicks Sporting Goods yesterday, they were sized a little big for my foot. I ordered the Cayman style a sleeker version of the Beach. If you need a roomier fit then the 'Beach' Croc is wider. Hope this helps.
