Make dining reservations?

We are booked into HRH for 3 nights and want to eat at Mythos/Tchop Tchop/Bubba gumps - Should I see concierge when I check in at HRH to make dinner reservations for me or am I best to ring up before hand and book in advance?
Do guests staying at US hotels get priority when making reservations for dinner - they dont at Disney, if you stay off site or on site everyone has to make ADR's at the same time with no priority for on site guests - is it the same at Universal?

Call ahead for Tchop Tchop. And you can try to call ahead for Mythos....if not, that morning would work. You cannot make ADR's for Bubba Gumps...they don't accept them. Concierge can make your reservations for you...by all means, stop by and inquire. If you stay onsite, your room key will get you next available at most restaurants, but not all ...for instance, one is Bubba Gumps
