Hi, I'm helping my son with his travel. He is flying into Miami with his friend for a cruise. After the cruise they want to go to Disney. My son and his friend are only 20, so renting a car would be too costly for them. Can someone recommend a port to Disney shuttle? Or would Amtrak or flying be the best way? I'm looking to keep the price low, but honestly I would go with the easiest and most reliable.

The Florida Express Bus would probably be about the most economical option.

You need to be aware that this is a drive of over 250 miles and depending on traffic can take from 4.5 to 6.5 hours each way. The length of the drive is going to take a good chunk out of the day, buses leave around 11am and arrive Orlando at about 5pm. Will definitely cut into his vacation time.
You didn't say if his return flight was from Miami. If so, even this economical option is going to get expensive if they need a round trip

Thanks for the link. I will look into the express bus. No, my son and his friend only booked one way tickets into Miami. They found one way $65 tickets on from Delta out of NYC. I told them to fly home out of Orlando. We just need a way to get them from the port to Disney. That's a long while on the bus. I'll help them plan a nice Disney dinner somewhere (maybe O'hana's) for their first night In Disney.

I will look into flying. What's a good low cost airline that runs out of Miami, or maybe I could even fly out of FLL if the price is right.

It took me just about 3 hrs, from just Delray Beach to WDW. I was moving quite sprightly. It is not a fun ride. Coming from Miami is going to add at least 45 mins to the time, probably more. I looked at flights....they aren't cheap. There do seem to be a lot of bus services of one kind or another though.
