What's the best way to get a location u want?

What is the best way to get a location u want at a hotel? We are
staying at CBR and I don't want to be really far from the food court.
I have made my reservations already, but I forgot to mention to the
agent to request Jamaica. Should I let her know so she can add
this to my reservation or should I try to fax the request in
4 days before we leave? Anyone have any hints on this.

I think I read here sometime ago that the resorts have stopped paying much attention to faxes with requests because they were getting inundated with them. Better to have your requests noted on your reservation. Your TA can simply call Disney Reservations back about yours and get them added. Plus, remember they are only requests. I have gone to WDW many times now and I don't always get my specific location requests met. They will try their best though.

I also know that because CBR is so spread out and so many people have requested the close buildings they have now made the closest buildings "preferred" rooms and charge an extra $15 a night for them.
