What's the best way to do the parks during New Years Eve???

Hello all! My fiance and I are coming to Disney from Dec. 29th-Jan.1st. We realize that this is the busiest time to be at Disney World. What are good strategies for going to the parks on these days? I've heard from several people that the parks are full to capacity by 10 or 11am on these days. Would buying Hopper passes be pointless if the parks are going to be so full that going from park to park is not possible? We are just trying to get a game plan together so any feedback would be wonderful! Thank you!

The parks will be full, possibly by 10 or 11. If your staying on Disney Property they guarantee that you will get into a park, not neccessarily the one you want. I would recommend epcot as the best place to be. I know that I enjoyed celebrating News Year Eve at 6:00 PM at France and then at Midnight with Illuminations. Hopefully you are staying on grounds, even better in the Epcot area. That way you can walk home. The parking lots will be packed and getting out of them takes time. If there's an accident it just ties things up more (and by 1 AM people are tired, frustrated and possibly have overindulged in adult beverage).
The best thing to remember about New Years Eve at Disney is that it is fun, but very crowded. Be patient. And remember, New Years Day is one of the better days to go to a park, all of the people that were there for NYE are sleeping.

Park you want to spend day and evening.If you park hop you may not be able to get back in to park of your choice because of huge crowds.Have a magical time even with the crowds this is a special time to visit WDW.
