We booked a "dummy cruise" while onboard last April and made a small deposit. We have since decided on a cruise to take and applied the previously paid deposit plus an additional payment to meet our deposit requirement. I looked at the suggested sites for
travel insurance, and even called a representative. I have been told that even tho' we booked this cruise and made our additional deposit within the 14-21 day time limit, they will consider the date we made our dummy booking as our original deposit date. Therefore disqualifying us on most plans. How do you guys deal with this? Any suggestions? Would it be best to purchase the
DCL Insurance plan in this situation? Thanks in advance for any advice!
