Hello everyone

In your opinion, what's the best section to stay in at the Coronado, and why?

I LOVE the tower but it wasn't available for when my friends and I are going to be there. We did not book preferred rooms, just the standard rooms (we don't spend much time in the rooms anyway :)) - looking for everyone's opinion on which section they like best.

Thanks in advance! :flower1:

I was in Casitas 5 in July and really liked it. My room was very close to the bridge, so I'd just shortcut across the lake and pass by Three Bridges. I'd requested Cabanas, but I ended up really liking my location. At least in July busses to parks were stopping at Casitas first, so that's a plus.

When I walked around the resort early one morning, Ranchos felt VERY far away - and very secluded. I'll probably never request that section TBH.

Thank you - I've stayed in Ranchos before...it IS far...

It depends what you are looking for but you can't g wrong with cabanas or casita 5

We love Casitas 4-5. It's next to the bridge, it's an easy trip over to El Centro, it's next to the first bus stop which makes mornings easier, and it never felt noisy/hectic (one screaming toddler neighbour aside!).

We stayed in Cabanas in August. We quite enjoyed the location as it was convenient to most everything.

....tower, tower, tower....I don't care for the other sections....JMHO.

Been a regular at coronado for years and was very excited to stay at the tower. Stayed in the tower for one night in 2020 and it was great and 5 nights this summer again. Dot get me wrong, the tower is awesome, rooms are great, but personally I missed staying in the other rooms. Next time I stay I will skip the tower, but obviously just my opinion. I will mention that either the addition of the tower or the lack of conventions.. or the combination of these... has made the pool MUCH less wonderful. It used to be much less crowded than it was on our last trip. I still LOVE the pool but it was insanely packed.

If you will have pool time, Cabanas 8a or 8b. Plus you are right next to a bus stop.
Otherwise I vote Casitas 4. You are right next to a bus stop, near the bridge for the Three Bridges Bar and Grill, and not a bad walk to the QS and main building.

...the pool wasn't too crowded when we were there....I don't appreciate the long walk from Gran Destino to the pool area though...

Same. If I couldn't get the tower, I'd switch to Caribbean Beach or upgrade to Animal Kingdom Lodge Standard View.

Were the bridges open when you were last there? I didn't think it was too far at all.

...yes, the bridges were all open...however, I have osteoarthritis in both my knees so, after walking around in a park, I don't relish walking that extra distance to the pool....I really DO like this pool area - it is so relaxing.

...hopefully this will give you a perspective of the layout of the resort.
