Hello Everyone,

My girlfriend and I are looking to pick our last Disney dining reservation for our seven day stay and are having a difficulties. We are thinking pasta, but would like to know where is the best authentic Italian pasta dishes? We were looking at Via Napoli (they have a couple reservation spots still open) and was wondering if anyone has had an amazing dish there besides pizza.

Thanks!

I had the spaghetti with veal meatballs from Via Napoli and thought it was delicious!

(Their pizza really is awesome, too - you can't go wrong with Via Napoli!)

Seconding the recommendation for Il Mulino. Its very convenient since its at the Swan and the food is great.
Just be aware that they don't take the dining plan and you can't do a room charge (unless you're staying at the Swan or Dolphin).

We love pasta, and the one I can go back for again and again is the Seafood Arrabbiata at Mama Melrose. Spicy and delicious!

If Il Mulino isn't an option for you, then I'd recommend Tutto Italia over the other Disney restaurants. Mama Melrose is decent ( think Olive Garden). Tony's would be hard pressed to come close to Olive Garden. Via Napoli is little better than your local Italian restaurant that does pasta and pizza. Not bad, but certainly not great. Haven't had a chance to try Il Forno yet but I've heard reviews are mixed.

Another vote for Il Mulino at the Swan. The Tortellini alla Panna is to die for!

I think the best pasta like other posters have said is at Il Mulino. I have has several dinners at Il Mulino and they have been absolutely wonderful. The pasta at Tutto Italia is pretty good. Vian Napoli isn't bad either. I didn't really like the pasta at Tony's. Mama Melrose to me has some pretty tasty pasta, but not great pasta like at Il Mulino. I haven't had the pleasure to try the new Italian Place at the boardwalk. But If you want the best pasta place on property you need to go to It Mulino!!

While not particularly Italian, a lot of the signature restaurants usually have a pasta dish on the menu. We've had great shrimp pasta at Flying Fish (saw Narcossee's had a similar item too) and also some of the best bolgonese I've ever had, and that is coming from an Italian. I usually skip pasta at the italian joints, but that's just because my Mama spoiled me

I also endorse Il Mulino. It's one of our favourites. Not just the pasta but a lot of their appetizers and salads are good too. It's the two of us and it's a little slower paced and a bit more romantic. You can take a bit more time with your dinner there.

I think the best pasta dish is at Citrico's: homemade fettuccine with english pea emulsion, alaskan king salmon, and Nueske's applewood smoked bacon. Not only is this the best pasta dish I've had at Disney, but its one of the best overall meals you can get.
