What's the best moderate resort in regards...

The buses are the buses are the buses. Obviously, it is going to take longer if you are staying at one of the resorts with multiple internal stops and especially if you are at the first stop. The reverse of that is if you are at the last stop, there is a good chance the bus is going to be full and you are going to have to wait for the next one. I've stayed at every resort on site including in a RV at the Fort and Shades of Green before it was military, except for SS, AoA, POFQ, WL and RiV. I have actually used the buses at the ones I haven't stayed while visiting them. I have had good and bad service at every single resort. I've had long waits and no waits at every single resort.

I have read so MANY posts where one poster would say that the buses were terrible and another poster staying at the same resort during the same time said the buses were great. CBR is great because of the skyliner, but they also have the oldest rooms.

Depending on the family the skyliner could be a game changer either way, good or bad. In our case, on an upcoming trip we could stay at AoA or Dolphin for the same price (Dolphin as a tad cheaper) but get two bathrooms in the AoA suite with only one at Dolphin. We ended up with Dolphin because AoA doesn't have buses but once every hour for Epcot and HS because you have the skyliner and they encourage that. Epcot and HS are the parks we spend the most time in. My son isn't a fan of heights and is claustrophobic. All it would take would be a hard wind or it to stop for more than 2 min. and it wouldn't be pretty.

The rooms at CBR are a little dated which is sad because it is a nice resort otherwise. I just wouldn't pick any resort because of buses because in the end, the service is going to be the same everywhere.
