What's app do you recommend for wait times? I like the look and info on Undercover Tourist but the list of rides is not updated. Help! We are going at the end of June and I know using a wait time app will really help us deal with the crowds the best.
Thanks!

My Disney Experience is the official app for Disney and has wait times direct from Disney. If you are eligible for FP+, My Disney Experience will allow you to make/modify your FP+ selections.

Gotta be honest - I already have the MDE app but it doesn't show wait times - it always says 'updating wait times' and then never updates them! So I am losing faith in MDE app before I even get to FL!

Works fine for me.

I think you have to be in the park, for the MDE app to give you wait times - can anyone verify this?

I have the Disney World InPark Assistance. And the wait times look awful today!

It works fine for wait times out of the park. Like right now RnR has a wait time around 150 minutes! Yikes!!!! OP do you have the app update? If so, try uninstalling and reinstalling. Also I have found if I don't have good data or wifi connection then it tends to act up. :)

And Soarin right now has 120 minute wait. I am not in the park or even in the area but just checked the app from work.

I am not in Disney right now (In CT) and I can see wait time for parks from MDE app.

I have the "Lines" app and I love it. Addictive. I have been known to check in on wait times even without a planned trip coming up. It's subscription based and tied to the Unofficial Guide book.

And I really like the interactive aspect. I can check in at the beginning of a ride and then when I get on it, to help update the actual waits. Like a few minutes ago, Soarin' was expected to be an 84 minute wait based on people actually there, while the ride's posted wait time is 120 minutes.

I prefer "Touring Plans" commonly referred to here as TP. It is a subscription service, but the cost is low. Once you have an account, you can download their app. I found that it worked very well in the park (Galaxy II S) and it is interactive, meaning that it allows you to input the wait times that you observe and even start and stop a timer that sends info back to HQ regarding the actual time that you waited in line, which can vary greatly from the "reported wait times" which is nothing more than people reporting what the signs at the rides say. MDE sticks to the times posted on the signs. Since TP can take its information a step further, I prefer it. And it never failed to work in the park. I cannot tell you how many "timed out" errors I got with MDE while in the parks. Disney's internet and wifi is running off of hamster wheels I tell ya'.

Nope. You have to be near the parks to use the "Here and Now" feature but not to get ride times.

I really liked Undercover Tourist's app but the free version isn't current on the attractions. For example, Under the Sea isn't even on the app.

:thumbsup2 I agree. Plus, you can use it from any phone or tablet. (I can't get MDE for my Nook.) If you don't have the app, you can access the same info at m.touringplans.com. I alos love using it to check menus around WDW. You can even search menus by item.

Easywdw.com/waits on a browser seems to be the fastest loading wait time list.

Thansk to everyone who has posted. I will try uninstalling and reinstalling MDE app and see what happens.

Mine is "Disney world wait times" ..free ap. Its always been spot on accurate in the past 2 year. People can enter waits times to keep it accurate
