I really like that video.

The best one is Thriller. IMO, it's the best music video ever made. I can't think of any others that can come close to it. DH bought it from iTunes a while back. We remember watching it over and over on MTV in the 80's. Even my 17 yr. old thinks it's a great video.

I did buy some MJ songs last week. So many memories... I remember stretching in dance class to Can You Feel It. PYT was one of my favorite songs.

I was always a fan of the video for Torture, one of the last songs he did with his brothers. You can definitely see his influence.

As for my favourite "just Michael" video, I don't know if I can pick just one. Love Thriller, Liberian Girl, Remember the Time, Smooth Criminal, and Give In To Me.

All of them are pretty phenomenal

Sorry -- I think it's just a poor quality video. But I think this is the version that was supposed to be on TV, which I never saw. Maybe the video channels thought it was too creepy? It is a bit the first time you watch the full version.

He wasn't IN the video tho, was he? If I remember my PopUp Video right, the only bit of him you see is a dummy...the family was busy feuding when they made the video.

Smooth Criminal is my favorite for sure. However, pretty much everything else that has been mentioned is great. I love Remember the Time for all the celebrity cameos and the Egyptian theme, Billy Jean because it's the first video I remember and I the light squares, The Way You Make Me Feel for Tyra and the b&w, Say Say Say because of Paul McCartney, the storyline and the editing of the song (I like the video version better than the album cut), Beat It, Thriller. Black or White I remember the premier of and all the hype and I love all of the ethnic dancing, Scream with Janet, and of course Captain EO. I still miss Captain EO a lot. Someone mentioned Rock with You and Don't Stop till You Get Enough...they are essentially the same video and they are hideous; you can tell they happened before music videos were important, but regardless I still enjoy watching them. About the only videos I don't watch again and again are the real slow tracks like that one from Free Willey...not my cup of tea.

You cannot deny that Thriller was the most impressive of all his videos. He meant it to be that way and he largely succeeded.

After that, I know I'm pretty much the only one, but for some reason i LOVE his The Way You Make Me Feel video. It's one of my favorite MJ songs, that was when he was at his hottest, but it's mostly because I love the choreography for that video. It feels so...I don't know...impromptu? It just feels natural and real. I really like it.


Favorite songs are the way you make me feel, smooth criminal, have you seen my childhood? A ton of others....I was such a huge fan. I have all his LP's and dvd's....I didn't really start mourning until a day or two ago...I think that's just when it hit me.

Haha, isn't it interesting... Michael Jackson does one of the best Superbowl performances in history, and totally sets the bar for future Superbowl performers....a few years later, his little sister Performs at the Superbowl and turns it on its head for a totally different reason!

Actually, I think Ghosts blows Thriller right out of the water -- he did it several years later and it was the same director, same choreographer. I would say that he meant to set the bar higher with this one.
