What's the best counter service food at MGM?

Thanks to the good advice I read here I have added the Backlot Express to our next trip. I would love to have one of those lunchboxes for my grandson.

Wow, I just went to Deb's site to see what the price was of the lunchbox... only $4.99 for Chicken nuggets with French fries or carrots and child's size drink.

I hate to ask but the lunchbox is included for that price, right?

Yes, it certainly is!!! Isn't it a great deal? That is why it's a tradition for us now. I think they change them at least once a year if not more often. I have 3 different ones. I missed getting one last year though.

Mousesavers (I think) indicated that it is cheaper if you want the meal without the box. They deduct something if you get only the food.

Although this 'could' be true, I have gotten this kids' meal/box 3 times now and I have never noticed the option to get that meal without the box.

Even if there were no box, $4.99 is a great price for a kids' meal at WDW for what they are getting (Chicken nuggets with French fries or carrots, and child's size drink) so I just can't imagine chicken nuggets, fries and a drink being much cheaper.

They probably don't advertise the fact that you can buy it without the box. Just like they don't let you know that you can order just a burger or hot dog without the fries and save money.

Yeah, that's why I said it 'could' be possible, so all I'm saying is isn't $4.99 pretty darn cheap already for Chicken nuggets with French fries or carrots, and child's size drink? I guess I just can't see how it can be much cheaper than that. To me it's already a great deal without the box.
