Do yoyu think it makes a difference whether you check in at 7pm or 10pm. I afraid checking in late on a friday night that ill get the room noone else wanted
We have found out the earlier the better. While our room is usually not ready I find that if we get there after 11 am when the people are checking out we will usually have a better chance of getting our room request. This time we checked in to the Poly at noon and the swan around noon too. This takes alot of planning which involves us getting the earliest non stop flight out of ny. I have to check 3 airports. Last year it was delta out of laguardia, this year it was southwest out of macarthur/'islip. We also get a towncar service and are there in no time flat. This time I had to explain to the cm why I exactly wanted a ground floor pool view room because our one ds has asthma and I was afraid if he wasnt breathing well due to having an exercise induced asthma attack I wanted him to get into the room asap for medication and rest. It is much easier to talk with the cm and go over things when there are not like 20 people waiting to check in at 3 p.m. (the stated time). I think anytime between noon and 2 would work better. After one crowd of checkouts and before the next crowd of check ins.
Bell.of.the.ball, since you'll be at WDW in 12 days, try not to worry about it too much. In just a few weeks, I will be checking into my resort around 11 PM, and I am sure whatever room they give me will be fine. Have a wonderful time at WDW.
