What's the average wait times for the subs these days?

We haven't been to the DLR in 3.5 years. I know when the subs first opened the wait times were ridiculous. What are they like now that some of the "new" has worn off?

We're flying from Texas, and I was debating having some bottled water, soda, and snacks delivered to the resort. I read WDW is charging a holding fee for these deliveries these days and was wondering if DLR is doing the same?

I have been wondering about this too. Anyone just got back from a trip that can tell us?

We went Thursday last week - we weren't there exactly when the park opened, but pretty close. Walked fast (didn't run) to get there. Waited about 15-20 minutes. By the time we got out, the line had grown to about a 30-45 min. wait. I would definately recommend going first thing. Last Tuesday, we kept checking it out as we were in the area doing Matterhorn, Space, Buzz, Jedi - but each time, the line was just too crazy long to wait. Good luck!

Thanks for the update :)
Were going in June and are thinking we will do them first day on the last day there if the waits not too long
I had a feeling that they would be just about as bad as Soarin at Epcot when we went in June 2007 (2 hour wait)
Its not worth a 2 hour wait to us as we have heard there just not that great lol

In early March, I found it was hovering around 20-30 minutes pretty consistently.

Definetly no 2 hr waits anymore. We caught it last week around 8PM ish with a 30 min wait so we went for it. Saw it that short a few times over our trip so it's definetly do-able now compared to a couple years ago. TSMM was in the same ballpark for wait times so maybe it was just a good week for newer rides.

P.S.
1st time we rode it 2 years ago it was OK but this time it seemed much better. The ride itself hasn't changed, just my perception. I think not having the hype and long lines helped me to just enjoy the ride instead of judging it.

Woah im glad its not a 2 hour wait anymore. Last June when I went (First week) it was over a 2 hour wait during the week. We went on it on a Magic Morning and we still waited 15 minutes. So I am happy the hype has been taken off a bit. Its definitely not worth a 2 hour wait, but it is still a MUST SEE.

We just got back. Waits during the day were 30-45 min. We walked slowly there on an early entry day and walked straight on no wait! Was able to then go to fantasyland and still make all the rides with no problem! We enjoyed it but it isn't worth the long wait in my opinion.

We don't really feel it's worth the wait to do the actual sub (with 2 small girls who cry from the explosion scene), so we walk up to the front of the line and ask to use the disabled experience. There is usually no one in the room and it has plenty of seating (enough for 6 people and 1 wheelchair). You see everything the sub passengers see, but in a room with a large flatscreen and you aren't stuck inside the sub waiting for it to get it's clearances to leave and dock.

Great for anyone with claustrophobia - the room is 10x12 and has 2 doors for easy entrance and exit. Better than being trapped inside the sub and driving everyone crazy with a crying child! They actually aren't afraid of anything seeing it in the room. Not even the angler fish, which is smack in your face in the portholes.

Good info... when we were there 1.5 yrs ago there was no way we'd wait 1-2hrs. Now I'm re-thinking it period.

That's called the MOO (Mobile Observation Outpost). :goodvibes
