What's something you don't have that EVERYONE else has?

I forgot--are you near Baltimore? I checked Weather.com and it said a low of 27 degrees for Montgomery County. Not that it's warm without heat, of course!

Yeah about 15 min. south west of there in Howard County. The little heaters I bought are working great, it's not to bad in here and I am in the basement. Maybe she was talking about something else, I was kind of busy thinking about frozen pipes and hoping I don't wake up to a skating rink in the family room. We had a flood down here a couple years ago, the last time we had a big snow. When the snow melted it flooded the neighbors house through the back door and came through to our house through the foundation.

Well in my neighborhood I seem to be one of the few without an RV. FINE BY ME. Unless that puppy comes outfitted with high speed internet and Direct tv I don't want it. And whats a vacation if you have to cook in a tiny little kitchen? I want to go out to eat. Those things just do not appeal to me at all.
We have waverunners but I would rather have a boat!

Seriously, I'm 34 and I've never had one. Most people are completely weirded out by that, but I've only had a few problems without it over the years and no car payments, repairs, gas, etc.

I also don't have:
DVC membership (but would love to), or AP's (but would love to)
TiVo
an Ipod (but I do have a very small mp3 player)
a camcorder
kids (yet)
"master bedroom suite"
a laundry room (ours is a space in the garage)
a mud room
a family room
grass in our yard
A house with more than 800 sq. feet
A functional college degree (mine's a B.Music in Vocal Pedagogy - most useful for asking "would you like fries with that?")

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one! I tried to get one, but I failed the test 3 times. So I decided the world would be safer if I didn't get one. Of course, I'm in NY, so I can get to my job with mass transit.

A woodburning fireplace like EVERYONE else in my neighborhood has.

The idiots who had the house built put in a gas fireplace--it must have been cheaper. They went the cheaper route for everything... Someday I would like a wood stove in the basement rec room. And yes, I know, some people convert their wood fireplaces to gas...

washing machine - Shh! don't tell DH - the real reason is that the laundromat is the only place I don't take the kids and it's a 2 hour break for me

Paved driveway (which I would love to have)
Two cars (we only have one, DH drives company vehicle)
Cleaning service (we do our own)
Yard service (same)
I never had children (DH had 3 - all grown now)

But, we are so blessed, even without those things !
