What's showing at the theatre in Discoveryland now?

I hear the Lion King is no more! Any recent trippers care to share?

According to DLRP Magic, it's the Tam Tam dancers playing there at the moment I believe.

It was the Tam Tam dancers at end of Jan. We went in not knowing what to expect but enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed it.

Quite a few people sitting near us left after about 5 minutes, but when they selected some members of the audience to participate it was hilarious - we loved it.

Hi there,

I went last week, and Discoveryland Information said that LK was only down for the Season. Likewise, the Videopolis still had signs outside advertising the show (one in English and one in French).

Having said that, the TamTams (which used to be in Adventureland according to many internet sites) were not on at all last Thursday, although the Guide said they'd be on every day last week except Monday & Tuesday. Then this week, they aren't mentioned in the guide at all.

So, I'd be interested in knowing whether they're gone for good, or gone seasonally, and also any info about the show - seeing as it's one of the few attractions at DLRP that I've never seen.

Isn't Videopolis where they are having one of the Mickeys Magical Party events - a cinema-type show with Mickey on stage, introducing classic Disney cartoons?

I'm sure I read that recently on DLRP Magic. I'll go have a look again.

HI Ive just got back from my month away with 2 visits to disneyland 1 week at the beginning and again at the end and both times the Videopolis was indeed cinema Mickey showing old and new cartoons, my kids loved popping in there for a sit down and watch some cartoons when our feet got tired.
Although ummm i think it was Thursday this week there was a choir from russia singing and the video screens had something like disney sing day or something, sorry i'm a bit tired i might remember correctly tomorrow lol.

well i didnt know about the lion king show before and what it was lie but i would say thats what it still looks like with 2 side screens and a big pull down screen in the middle,

The Magic Music Days performances occupies the stage during the holidays ....

That's interesting to know, as back in the day, the Magic Music Days took place in the Fantasyland Theatre.
