What's Santa Bringing Your Kids?

You can never have to much playmobil! Just like you can never have to many legos...we are thinking of building an addition onto our home out of lego bricks :teeth: But seriously...playmobil has such a wide range of neat stuff, most of which does not require batteries and encourages use of the imagination. Our DS has Pirates, western (cowboys and indians), Town stuff and everything in between and the stuff actually gets a lot of use so I dont mind adding to it every year. And legos, the sky is the limit, I always get DH's nephews legos for xmas...they like them and I figure if they don't like the set I get them, the pieces can be used to build whatever they want

Yeah, I know! I was being half-sarcastic. I love Playmobil! My son has the same sets as yours...the cowboys/indians, pirates (3 different sets of these!), knights, and a few handmedowns from my nephew. I try really hard to have him keep the sets separate...it's so difficult though! They each have their own bin, but he does like to combine them for playing. So I've pretty much given up on keeping the pirates with the pirates and the knights with the knights! My SIL is always good for giving Playmobil for Christmas anyway!

Sometimes I just wish Christmas were a bit more "simple"....not so much stuff!

each child gets one very nice present, and a few smaller ones three total. DD12 a cell phone, she is only allowed to take it on sporting events for school, we travel up to 2 hrs away for a game. DD8 season one of charmed, DS pirate ship, DD4 easy bake oven. Also her birthday in on the 11th she is getting a play kitchen. DS1 blocks, Also his birthday is on the 13th. Then we have the kids draw names for each other then we take the shopping for that person. DH wanted a new shirt his birthday in on the 27th, and I am getting Beowulf and Grendel movie. Plus the three birthday people will get a present in birthday wrapping paper :rotfl: OT my nephews birthday is the 15th, and my husband late sisters birthday was the13th. December is rather crazy with birthdays alone! They will also get stocking stuffers(movie, toothbrshes, cards, etc) :grouphug:
