If you are a normal person, you find find this to be a slow and boring book. Yes, it deals with real issues, but who cares. I feel sorry for the characters, but it's not like you can do anything in REAL LIFE.

I now have two YA titles on my booklist for my library system's website.

One of them is by an author that I met sophomore year and the other book I read by him was decent, and I read rave reviews for this one that I plan to read.

The other is a retelling of The Little Mermaid with really positive reviews as well.

I wish there was a website listing YA novels that don't suck.
