I had one kid in my grade who just turned 14 in August. I was like, "you should be in 8th grade!" That is pretty young for 9th grade.

Isn't 14 the usual age for 9th grade? I was 14 in 9th grade. Of course, I will graduate at 17 so maybe it is young.

Most of the people in my grade are 15 or turning 15 very soon. That guy was 13 going on 14, so that was young for us.

Yeah, I have friends like that, too. It's like, they barely made the "deadline" bed ore they would go into the grade below us. Don't you have to be in a certain age when we all go into kindergarten? I figured that would even things out.
