The first is to validate, the second is the welcome email. The first million to receive/use the welcome email get in. that one could take a few weeks though.

I was worried about the 48 hours thing, but it's 48 hours starting when you receive the email, not starting when you register I think. I'm more worried about the early entry filling up.

Some people are saying that they got their second emails but idk, I don't think they'd start picking beta testers before the 7 days are up. And the site said it could take several weeks to receive the second emails
