So it's going to cost more to get into university for you guys? Just how much, do you know?

There are grants that you can get for your tuition and expenses, but there's a group of Republicans that want to eliminate the grants to prevent the nation from going into default on its loans.

It's not going up any more (right now; it's gone up twice this year already in California), but there won't be any extra help which most people need.

And what is the average university fee a year in the USA atm? I'm paying almost £3,500 a year for my university (which is around $6,000), but next year, the fee for new students will rise up to £9,000 in some places (which is almost $15,000 a year!).

Wow... I don't think we have community colleges here. I also didn't include my maintenance loan, which is an extra £3,000 or so. I don't even use it... I could save it all up and use it on a really expensive trip to WDW...
