But if it does happen, we've got land in the NC mountains... we'll drive there at the first sign of a tsunami (because ya know since 2004 the USA has added like 30 more thingys into the ocean to track and search for tsunamis.) and the mountains will stop the water. SO I'LL LIVE.

me too. I may live on a hill, but I have the coast on one side and the Thames, which will burst in a tsunami, on the other side. Only one thing for it. I might have to move to scotland ):

But the website said it would travel a mile inland. I'm about 20 miles away from the ocean (maybe more), and about 5 miles away from the Thames. Surely that's far enough away, right?
