I don't think it's anything special. I don't think it's as obvious as a southern or British accent.

I can't really use any website that's the first result on Google, unless it's very scientific-y and stuff... I can use my textbook, and I will for listing the effects of ash clouds, but it doesn't give a description. I'm going to use BBC News for describing what happened during the Eyjafjallajokull eruption. Hmm...

I don't realize my accent until I talk to someone who doesn't have a southern accent. They are always like " ohmigosh! You have to be from TN! Your accent is so cute!" Like I said, I can't even tell I have an accent.
