What's on your Independence Day dinner menu tonight? BBQ hot dogs, salad, iced tea, a USA flag cake, and some ice cream is what my family is having tonight.
We celebrated yesterday because of our family’s work schedules but we did have leftovers tonight!
We had hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages with peppers and onions, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, Buffalo chicken dip, deviled eggs, potato salad, Mexican corn salad, corn on the cob, fruit and warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream. It was just as delicious today

I haven’t lit a gas grill since July 4, 2004. that’s the day I began rocking burned bangs and eyebrows (the gas built up under the gas grill and blew back into my hair when I opened the grill). However, my teenager lit the grill today, so I made hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, and sauage
We had a big family celebration Saturday; today is just my DH, DD, and myself. We had grilled hotdogs, tater tots, and corn on the cob. It did the trick
Burritos were fine. This is my second July 4th of retirement, and my second July 4th where it wasn't just another work day. 42 years of working habits are taking some time to get out of. Maybe some year we'll do a traditional meal like burgers and hot dogs.
