What's on Your Disney Bucket List?

I visited 8 Disney parks in 2015. I want to break that record and visit the other parks in Asia and Europe.

That's a lot of parks in one year:thumbsup2

I don't have a bucket list because I have simple tastes and stay in moderates by choice.

Have been to both WDW and DL and if I travel internationally it wouldn't be to visit other Disney resorts. It would be to Italy, Normandy coast of France, New Zealand, Austria, Norway and, my personal favorite, Great Britain (again!!)

I can understand that. I had never wanted to visit Disney in a foreign country until I started going to WDW as an adult with my own family. We have been to Paris, but I didn't want to go to Disney then. I really enjoy visiting foreign countries to see their culture. I have been concerned that visiting Disney would not represent that; however, I am now of the belief that foreign Disneys can be somewhat representative of the countries culture. So, I would like to visit them, but the country itself comes first.

Italy is awesome; I would like to go back and see Sicily and the Dolemites. Normandy would be nice too. I liked Austria and would really like to get to do Salzburg and Vienna. We only did a small part of the Tirol near Germany. I loved London and would like to do other parts, especially Scotland. I haven't been to New Zealand or Norway yet. By BIL lived in Norway for a while and loved it.

2016 Bucket List
1. Be there for the opening show at MK
2. Stay until the park closes being one of the last out

The opening show is really cute. I would like to stay until they kick me out:)

Thank you to the OP!! I really had to sit and think about this.
Disney Bucket List

1. Sister and I only trip (or partial trip)

2. Behind the steam tour

3. work at AK with animals (when we retire south)

4. work in retail on property (I know it sounds crazy, but I love to assist and I work in a customer focused industry now, why not use it to help sell fun items)

The sister trip sounds nice. I thought we would do the Steam Train Tour this March, because DS will just be old enough. However, he didn't want to do it:( Maybe next time. I work with a guy whose GF is studying to be a vet and worked there in the College Program. It sounded really cool. I would like to work on property too, maybe in retail.

DH just informed me that if we won the lottery we would stay at WDW for a month...so, I guess that would be it.

Realistically though, I'd like to:

See WDW during Christmas time.
Stay at a monorail resort
Eat at the Chef's table at V&A
Visit Tokyo Disney
Stay at AK Lodge for a week
Do a VIP tour

I write a new bucket list for each trip... this is what I've got for my upcoming trip:
  • Visit the Enchanted Tiki Room (how did I miss animatronic parrots?!)
  • Do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour
  • Brave Tower of Terror and RnRC
  • Beat DH's score on TSMM or Buzz!
  • Meet Tiana
  • Meet Donald in every park

Keys of the Kingdom will possibly get bumped due to the cost (sadly) but generally I like to have small achievable goals for my trips!

My bigger scale bucket list only has one thing on it at the moment:
Stay at the Grand Floridian

If I sat down properly, I'd probably be able to add more to that, but I'm happy just having one thing on there right now!

My upcoming trip in 25 days is checking off a lot - I realistically don't know when we will get back to WDW.
-Stay at the Poly
-Do makeovers for DDs - DD8 gets PL & DD5 gets BBB)
Keys to the Kingdom for DH, BIL & my Dad - I would love to do it, but I also don't want to ruin the magic for myself!
- Wishes cruise from the Poly

My dreams that are yet to happen:
Disney Cruise
Stay in Cinderella ' s Suite

  • Visit the Enchanted Tiki Room (how did I miss animatronic parrots?!)
  • Brave Tower of Terror and RnRC
  • Meet Donald in every park
I can't believe that you have missed the Tiki Room:eek: It's one of our favorite. I new DH was right for, even though we had already been married over 10 years, when he loved the Tiki Room as much as I do. Doing RNRC is on my list too, but I didn't want to add it and add undue pressure. I don't know if I could every TOT; I hate big drops. I really need to do Space Mountain, and then work my way up to RNRC or Expedition Everest. DS would be jealous to meet all of the Donalds. That's his favorite character.

When I realised on the flight home that we had missed the Tiki Room, I was gutted! We keep birds and missed the parrots! D'oh!

I love this thread idea! Mine are:
  • Visit/stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite
  • Eat at a restaurant from each pavilion in the World Showcase
  • Eat at California Grill during Wishes! (fingers crossed this will happen April 2017 for a first anniversary trip)
  • Do the Lunch with an Imagineer at DHS
  • Take the Keys to the Kingdom tour
  • Visit in December when all the holiday decorations are up
  • Eat at Victoria and Albert's
  • Stay at all the monorail resorts as an adult (I got to stay at GF and the Contemporary as a kid, but I don't think I really understood how lucky I was)
  • Be Our Guest dinner (accomplishing this in three weeks!)
  • Afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian (also accomplishing this in three weeks)
Hmm, a lot of these center around food... :)

The WS restaurants is good. Congratulations on the anniversary. I had forgotten about dining with an Imagineer. My list keeps getting longer:) V&A is awesome; you won't be disappointed. DH and I did the tea in 2012. We really liked it, but I think it has changed since.

The sister only trip is because we are the only two in our family who tour the same. We walk fast, our husbands don't, they just don't understand heheh. Actually, a lot of it comes from multiple offsite Christmas week trips pre fastpass era. We were get there early, tour with a plan, before I even knew it was a thing.

DH and I both have degrees in Animal Science and work in related large animal fields and have a hobby farm. I would be okay with a even a pen/area cleaning job just to be close to the magic and who really wants to think too much about work in retirement? :)

Mine has more to do with resorts on property & TS restaurants since I am always on a budget so only have stayed in values & eat at QS.

1. Stay at WL for one week in Dec.
2. Stay at one of the Epcot resorts during F&W or F&G
3. Stay at Poly any time of year :)
4. Have late dinner at CG before Wishes
5. Go on a Disney cruise
6. Eat at V&As!
7. Honeymoon at WDW, AKL during holiday season

My bucket list for 2016 eat at Sanaa, Ride the Mine Train, go to both waterparks, play mini golf and have dinner with my dh and no kids in tow. 2017 bucket list trip with just my dh and myself nothing else will matter

I'll list mine from most to least possible.

1) Stay at the Polynesian (hope to do this with my husband once the kids are older).
2) Run the Food and Wine Half marathon. I "might" sign up for this this year.
3) See illuminations from a relaxed and non-crowded area. Again I could tackle this with the dessert cruise and will probably try to do this this next trip.
4) Do a 14 day stay. This will have to wait a long time, if ever. Longest I have done is 10 days.
5) Stay in the Castle Suite - this will never happen but I need a long goal.
6) Semi-retire as a CM. This probably sounds better than it is, but I would love the idea of just spending my days helping people have a nice vacation.

1) Stay at Beach Club at least once.
2) Go to Disney World with just my FI before we have kids.
3) Land and Sea adventure once we have kids.
4) Food & Wine festival.
5) Get a huge family group picture in front of the castle (kids, grandparents, aunts & uncles- the more the merrier)!- This one is my wish lol and will probably never happen.

I'd like to stay at the Grand Floridian.

Without getting too into it - my parents always brought my sister and me to Disney. We grew up in Disney and lately, we've been going every year for Christmas. It's a well-known fact that the Deluxe resorts are crazy expensive during Christmas. This past year, we stopped on the boat and just admired the GF and the people getting on and off the boat. It was a different mentality there. Don't get me wrong - we do well for ourselves, but far from "Grand Floridian money".

I'm 26 and still working toward establishing myself in my career. I'd like to think I could one day afford to take my entire family to the GF for Christmas. I envision it the same way someone would dream of one day driving a BMW or Audi (it's probably the same price, too!) :rotfl:

I totally get this. Poly was my holy grail. I had been to WDW a couple of times a kid and stayed off-property. We would visit the Poly, and I was just in love. I was lucky enough to feel comfortable with the price and DH agreed, so we stayed there, before the waterfall was removed, in 2012. We loved it so much, that we stayed again for a few days before a cruise. The first stay was my own family's first WDW trip, and this was after having graduated about 15 years before. We do have a BMW and were more willing to spend the money for that than Poly:rotfl:We get to enjoy the BMW everyday, and our last one was 14 years old when someone totaled it. However, Poly has gone up about $200/night from what we paid. So we haven't stayed again since. Maybe again someday.
