I LOVE Squirrel Nut Zippers! I've never heard anyone here mention them before. Reservoir Dogs was a huge hit when I was in college- that, and Dazed and Confused (love both of them!)

We love them! I wish they toured more often, well more often close to here anyway. Their sound is so friggin cool. I have all of their albums and a few bonus tracks like "Under the Sea", which is really neat hearing Disney music by them.

If you like them check out the Puppini Sisters. They sound like the Andrews Sisters and have that old fashioned sound with a modern twist.:thumbsup2

Reservoir Dogs is one of my favs as well. Quentin Tarrantino worked in a record store when he was younger and that is why his soundtracks are so cool. He definitely has a defined ear for sound and I try and collect all of his soundtracks as they are works unto themselves.

I have almost 5000 songs on my Ipod. They include show tunes, classic rock, pop, movie soundtracks, Celtic, tons of Christmas music and just anything else that struck my fancy. I also have videos. I have about two dozen episodes of Stargate SG-1 and the movie Prince Caspian.

When I go to eat by myself at some place like Panara, I just whip out my Ipod and watch one of my favorite episodes of SG-1. It makes the time go by quicker.

I've got a huge mixture because I love all different types of music, old and new!

I saw SNZ in '96 or '97 at Tiptita's (New Orleans- well known music bar, small and intimate). It was a great concert- there were maybe 300-400 people there. Too cool.

I will definitely check out the Puppini Sisters- I've never even heard of them.
