What's on the Emerald Aisle? **2014**

Any updates? I'll be arriving 2/2, wondering how busy it will be that week. The parks look slow (good) but not sure if there are conventions or anything.

We are arriving the 4th and there's no more value or moderate room available even without a discount. that has me scared to no end LOL

Still no updates???

P/U a car on Saturday (flying in Friday night) and was hoping to know what's available. For some reason, there is a lot of activity at the DVC resorts (ie little availability) for studios and some 1BRs. Praying for that not to translate into crowds...

bump....reserved a Toyota Corrolla wondering if we will get something bigger

We arrived today. As far as larger vehicles go, at 2pm on the 'A' side Emerald Aisle, there was a bigger SUV and two Grand Caravans. The SUV (Yukon maybe) had 3 rows of seats but very little room behind the third row. So we took one of the minivans.

Any recent reports?

I currently have an intermediate SUV reserved, but I might be interested in what's available in the aisle. Anyone ever see a convertible ;)?

Arrived Sunday Feb 2 @ 6pm.
Aisle was full of minivans and suvs, no cars at all.
Just the DW and myself so didn't really want/need one of these
While we looked what was on the midsize aisle, they brought out a couple of white Camrys and a Chrysler 200 to the Emerald Aisle.

we arrived on the first of February, so the day before you, and had a completely different experience. We had basically a bunch of Camrys Altimas and Malibus with the occasional Jeep Patriot thrown in. DH was working down in Tampa and had rented a very nice loaded Ford Escape at the Tampa Airport so instead of returning it we just use that for our rental in Orlando. Even on the Alamo side they did not have an escape loaded nearly as well as what he picked up on the Emerald Aisle in Tampa.

Weird how it can change so much from day to day.
I usually love the emerald aisle so that I can try out something different. We have been able to get everything from Mazda 6s, Malibus, Camrys, to Mustangs and even an Infiniti one time.
We never were truck/SUV people and we did the Minivan thing when the 3 kids were small. Needless to say, we were very disappointed when we arrived at the aisle to find it full of Minivans and SUV/CUVs. Glad they brought some cars around.

Last October was down with a buddy and ended up in a similar situation (no Cars). Ended up taking a Nissan Pathfinder in TPA. My buddy loved it, brand new with like 9 miles on the clock and the dealer sheet still on the window.
It was nice, but a truck.

I think there was a Mustang or two. We were going on a week cruise plus time at WDW, so I had to take an SUV to accommodate people luggage and owner's lockers as well. In the end, we ended up not taking the OL's and so likely could have just taken a stang.

They're my fave car (next to my 5 series with M Sport) but not bloody practical in New England. lol

Picked up on 3/24 at 1:00am side B. The aisle had lots of vans, a few Impalas, a Jeep (Cherokee I think) and a Chevy Traverse. We took the Traverse.
