What's on National's Emerald Aisle > 2015!

We plan to pick up in tpa in five weeks & dropoff at mco so hopefully I'll have an update then.
*BUT* I found Alamo full size for $68 cheaper, so unless National has something really cool on the EA @ tpa or prices come down I may abandon Natl.

Not Orlando related but I rented a car in Richmond VA on business the past 2 weeks. They don't have EA but advertised a "virtual EA" on their app. The email said to log onto the app after landing and pick from a list. I tried it, didn't work. I got to the booth and was offered a Beetle, Kia Soul, Chevy Malibu, a couple others. Took the Malibu, nice car, 3700 miles.

Report: 5/29 Side A. 10 am. The emerald aisle was very full. Am a little blurred which was on executive or regular. Sorry.
We saw: several couple equinox {chevy} santa fe, a couple of large vans, which where chrysler. Car's saw 200, couple passat's, sonata, camry's,
and a few crossover types by jeep.
We chose a gmc terrain. leather, sunroof and very clean, 5k. Very nice suv. We saw several models on the aisle of the terrains but this one had more toys. :thumbsup2

Happy Hunting! :car:

Whatever aisle you saw the 200 in would have been the Emerald Aisle as they are standard cars.

Nope! I got my piece of junk 200 off the Executive Aisle.... so they stick those things everywhere. (Literally the worst driving rental car I have EVER had LOL!)

Arriving mid week this week..woohoo!

Anybody here using National? What's been on emerald aisle of late? TIA

We will be picking up there this Saturday. Executive aisle.

Folks want to know, but no one is using National Emerald Aisle......hmmmm

I'll at least report back after arriving for those who follow...........

The rates have been so high with national that folks are going elsewhere. We arrive on Saturday but are executive members. If I can stay focused enough I'll take a peak at the emerald aisle.

We picked up on Friday night, July 31. Mostly Chrysler 200s. Saw a couple of VW passats and a Nissan Altima. They let us take a Chevy Malibu off the executive aisle as we had 5 people and that was a little bigger. Was hoping for a van but none were available.

We picked up on Saturday August 1 from side A. We were suppose to pick up at 2:00 but we're 4 hours late, so picked up around 6pm. On emerald aisle we saw mostly midsize to full size vehicles. We saw a couple of small SUVs, RAV4? Nothing bigger and no minivans. We are executive members so chose from executive aisle. We had mostly SUVs to choose from (Santa fe, jeeps, journey). We picked up the only minivan (t&c). Even though we were so late, there was no issue and our reservation price was still honored.

Thanks for the update, I wonder if side B was better. Prices are always honored for late arrivals except if your using a coupon that has a minimum stay and the late arrival throws that time-frame off.
