What's new with the Great Movie Ride?

Its a shame they're getting rid of all the good ones like the great movie ride and COP. I just hope they replace them with quality rides instead of stupid dumbo replica rides such as the magic carpets of aladdin and triceratops spin(not sure of the actual name...its the ride in AK)......

I don't think the ride's actually closed down yet, has it?? But I know they're planning on shutting down the ride, because their contract with MGM expires in 2004, so they're going to lose all the rights to the movies inside.

(I think. It's perfectly possible that I just dreamed all of that, and none of it's true. )

And I agree that they need new rides, but why do they feel the need to sacrifice an old ride in it's place?? They've got plenty of space, they don't need this whole new rides for old strategy

I love the Great Movie Ride it's the best movie goer ride! omg they can't get rid of it!!!!!!! i'm tellin my mommy on them.
