I haven't been able to keep up with the DIS for awhile, but when I left off...

People were just beginning to be able to make ADR's for the entirety of their stay starting 90 days from the first day of their stay.

How is this working out? Is it still going on? Does it make it any easier to get CRT?

Also...is CRT easier to get now that it counts as 2 TS meals on the dining plan? And can it be booked 180 days out now?

What are your experiences? Just curious.

I think ADR's can now be made 180 days out and if you are staying on property then you can make them all at once.

So if you are going June 2-10, you could call January 2 and make ADR for all the days even though some of the days would be farther than 180 days out.

Not sure if this is helping with availability of the popular places since they will most likely fill up sooner but it does help to spread them all out a little.

I confirmed reservations this morning for July 2. I found all the info on CRT here: LONG CRT thread. The thread is long, started in 2002 I believe. I read it backwards!

It has come to the point where most restaurants do not allow walk-ins at dinner time.

Is that all ADR's or just CRT?

Not to nitpick but I guess that's what I'm going to do ;) :

You've always been able to make most ARs all at once but just from the last day of your stay rather than first. MK and MGM restaurants were an exception for a time with a different window. There were a few other exceptions like Chef's Table and Hoop dee Doo. The Hoop can still be made 2 years ahead I believe. V&A can't be before 180.

July 2 is not 180 from 1/2. ;)

But almost all ARs can be made at 180 plus ten as it was called.

Right, but isn't the difference that now your technically getting the extra 10 days on the front end (from your first day) which would be especially useful for CRT?
I did find lots of good info at allearsnet.com

Absolutely.

And I wasn't nitpicking with you but rather the perception in responses that you couldn't make ARs all at once before.

I don't know about CRT but with all three meals being princess meals after 2/1 when dinner converts, you would think it would ease somewhat wouldn't you? Plus dinner will be two credits on the dining plan so that might make it easier too. Is breakfast two credits?

Actually, January would be well within the 180 days. June vacationers could call in December and make all their ADR's.

ADR's can be made 180 days out. If you are a resort guest, you can make them starting at your 180 day mark and make them for 10 days of your stay.

OK, how pitiful is that...I read June as July! :rotfl: Sorry everyone.

I need to go walk my :dog: dog!

I didn't think you were nitpicking at all! :) I have read on some other threads that people are having their choice of CRT times. That's good news, but I'll still make those ADR's as soon as I possibly can. We want the breakfast bad. It is 2 credits on the dining plan.
