What's my true weight?

When I weigh myself in the morning I am about 6 pounds lighter that when I weigh myself in the evening. Of course I like what the scale says in the morning compared to what it says at night but which one is the right one?

I have always been under the impression that you decide and stick with it. I think the majority of people weigh themselves in the morning. I know I do:):)

Last night I went to the doctor and I was up 4 pounds from the am. But I usually go to the doctor in the evening so that is his official weight. Mine is the one in the morning.

I always think that the morning weight is the "truest" weight. After you eat or drink, the food you've ingested does have a weight. Additionally, depending what you eat, you may retain some of the water throughout the day. When you weigh yourself in the morning, typically you have "fasted" at least 8 hours and this gives you a more realistic picture of what your actual weight is.
 
Most of that difference is water weight and if you get lots of water in it helps tremedously.

I know I always weighed less in morning than at my Monday evening WW meetings when I used to go. But as I drank more water it was minimal difference in evening.
 

I always weigh myself in the morning. I know people who have done WW and go to the evening meetings and they WI there. They use that as their true weight instead of going back and forth. I think as long as you use a consistent time and method, you'll be OK.
