What's missing from WS countries?

Canada is definatly missing something...It is a pretty boring representation of what Canada is

Well they're not adding something exactly, screamscape.com posted that they're filming a new movie for it.

Oh, and I do think they should add Ireland (and please, nobody post something stating that they have the U.K. already, I don't mean the U.K., I mean the Republic of Ireland.)

Yup, Ireland would be an excellent addition. Maybe the UK could budge up a bit to fit the rest of Ireland in, then change the name from UK to the British Isles? After all, Guinness is already served in the Rose and Crown. (But so is Stella Artois which is Belgian )

As I posted a while ago, I think Disney ought to bring back the Millennium Village and give other countries an opportunity.

doubt they'd be able to fit it tho. and i don't want to hear about "oh they opened up that pub"......yes....that doesn't make up for it one bit tho.

at least they have the UK and Italy.

The UK is England,Wales,Scotland and Northern Ireland. I doubt that they would ever add the Republic of Ireland.

Seriously, everytime I watch that movie, I see all the forests in the film and think, "Gee, with all that wood they have, it sure would be nice to have a log to sit on right about now."

To be honest, it's been ages since I've seen the current movie in Canada, all I remember is the song.

And I never met anyone who said "eh" all the time from Canada until one day I got a call at my job from a canadian helpdesk, and every other word he said was "eh". It was terrible!!

Speaking of Ireland, our waitress at the Rose and Crown was from Ireland. I didn't know they had Irish employees in the England pavillion.

here is a thought, since i just returned.
for american pavillion:
how about a new york style deli
seattle market coffee's
philly cheseteaks
buffalo wings
bbq (both carolina and texas)
and a selection of american candy at a stand, hershey or the other brands?

Awesome Idea!!! And if I had to pick just one of those, I think I would go for the NY deli. Look how popular Earl of Sandwich is. I sure would love to get a grilled Reuben instead of a hamburger at the AP.

And the Seattle market coffee is a great idea. Imagine, decent coffee at the parks.

I would like to see them take the guy carving wood and put it in AK in Africa somewhere......and in it's place, put Russia or maybe Egypt.....

As much as I hate to say this, since I am from America.....the USA as a country has nothing.....since WDW is in Florida, I wouldn't mind if they replaced America with another country.....please don't flame!!!

As much as I hate to say this, since I am from America.....the USA as a country has nothing.....since WDW is in Florida, I wouldn't mind if they replaced America with another country.....please don't flame!!!

No flames here. But I can tell you I would be very upset if they did that. I LOVE the Voices of Liberty and the show. Maybe it's because I sing and their voices are incredible.........my whole family loves them.

And I probably love the show because I am very patriotic(not saying anyone isn't if they don't like the show). I know, I know, some think it's boring, but I don't and I get choked up everytime I see the Challenger astronauts come across the screen.......I can't help it. And the music to that is great also. "America.........spread your golden wings......" .......hum, hum....... I love it!

There's a lot of confusion about England, UK, Britain, etc. Hell, it confuses me and I'm a Brit (whatever that is ).

For the benefit of those equally befuddled....
England, Wales, Scotland are separate countries (I'm avoiding concepts like principalities)
These three countries reside on Great Britain (the larger island that makes up the British Isles)
The British Isles includes Ireland, which is split into the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The United Kingdom comprises England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Err...I think that is correct.

So, the waitress in the Rose and Crown could have come from Northern Ireland. Alternatively she could have come from the Republic of Ireland and Disney isn't too fussed that she strictly isn't a UK citizen.

Boring? No way, I always appreciate a good geography lesson.

I actually knew some of that. And thank you for the explanation. I just always call it England when I'm there (sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone). It's just because of the "fish and chips, tea, and 'British Invasion'" thing.........they all speak England to me. I need to start calling it by it's right name so I don't get confused........ thank you.

Oh, so true. Especially as we usually tour WS clockwise - Canada is the last land we get to and we really could do with a sit down.

The song is very uplifting though
