What's last week May/first week in June like for last minute deals?

Been looking at a cheap last minute holiday to Spain, or such like, for the last week in May, first week in June this year and I can't help but think that for not much more we could do a budget break to Florida.

So, does anyone have any experience of last minute deals around the last week of May, first week of June? I know April/May are typically good months for late deals but not sure if the fact we would continue into June would make a difference?

Any hints and tips from those who have successfully got a last minute deal welcome

Last week of May not good as it is school hols and people tend to tack a week on either side or some schools have 2 weeks eg my friends kids are off last week of May and 1st wee kof June.

Mid June or early May are better bets for late deals

Damn, I was originally going to take only the last week in May off as Annual Leave but we tend to avoid taking our Annual Leave in school holidays so decided to take the 2 weeks instead. It's a pipe dream anyway as we can't really afford it regardless.

Do keep checking you never know.

Worth checking travelzoo and uk hot deals.

I've watched the late deals really closely last couple of years and was lucky enough tobe able to take advantage early May last year.

Been a few times that time of the year and it has been quiet I've never waited long on rides ect . Going again this year early June I find the last two weeks in June start to get busy.
