Whats included in free dinning?

Is it a table service meal, quick service and a snack? I'm hoping for FD in October but I wouldn't use the table service and would rather have all quick service. Anyone know? Thanks!!

I believe that value resorts offer the quick service dining plan which offers 2 counter service meals and a snack. Moderate and deluxe resorts offer the regular dining plan which is a counter service meal and a table service meal and a snack.

I would recommend using your table service credits because there are some great dining experiences. We like to meet the characters without waits and have more time with them. However you are able to use a table service credit as a counter service credit, just not the other way round.

In the past FD has been the QSDP at values which is TWO QSDP meals and 1 snack per night. Mods and deluxe are the regular ddp which is 1TS, 1 QSDP and 1 snack....

It is pretty up in the air on how or if the FD offer will change this year.

Not long ago (1-2 yrs) the moderates had a FD offer with Quick Service. You have to read each FD offer carefully. If you'd like to stay at a moderate instead of value resort, this kind of offer might appeal to you.

Totally depends on what the offer is and which resort you book.

In general the most recent permutation is value resorts getting the quick service plan free and moderates/deluxes get the regular plan free. That may or may not be changing. There have already been changes to the frequency of the offers this year, as no general public free dining at all was offered for the January-February time frame. All current offers that include dates in 2013 have come from either PIN codes or bounceback offers.

I read a post on here yesterday that free dining for UK residents, which was previously quick service at moderates and regular dining at deluxes, is now quick service at all resorts (except values - UK doesn't get free dining at values). So are changes coming for any US public offers that may come out? Possibly, there haven't been any yet, so we can't say. Lots of rumors going around.

Sounds like a phasing out of the FD plan if this holds true.....so sad.
